Could I ask you where you applied? I am faced with a similar dilemma and my interests lie in journalism and broadcasting as well. I am curious to know which school in your opinion is the one to apply to?
I finished my diploma at Seneca College in Toronto. In my opinion it was a great college, however, I’ve also heard amazing things about Ryerson University. A couple of my colleagues finished their Journalism degrees there and had nothing but great things to say.
I also took some part time Journalism courses at BCIT in Vancouver, B.C. which were also very useful and the classes were great.
But best of all, real life experience is invaluable – try to volunteer at as many places as you can before you dive into this as your career. It is a very cut throat industry.
I think a very touchy subject is infidelity! WHY do younger women go after married men! Is it right she is East Indian and him not!
It has happened to me and there is not a day that goes by it breaks my heart! She has been told I wrote to her on facebook! I asked that she repy and tell me she will never talked to my husband again but she did not reply! We are now going to Toronto where she lives and I pray my husband does not call her and if he does she is women enough to say go to hell! I have told him so he isvmore than aware, but a teptrest is just that! So INFIDELITY! Thats a good subject to cover!
