Jehan Almazor – Born and raised in Winnipeg. Attended the University of Manitoba to pursue a degree in Clothing and Textiles. After graduation, she worked as an Assistant Buyer for national retailer Warehouse One. To succeed in anything and everything she does, she always knew that she had to be in an environment that offers endless opportunities. One of her goals was to move to the big city of Toronto. And she finally made the big move in 2007 and has not looked back since.

As a small town girl and proud to have accomplished one of her goals, she says anything is impossible if you stay determined and focused. Since then, she’s had the privilege to experience different aspects of the fashion industry and has met and worked with amazing and talented people.

She believes things happen for a reason. Thus this past year has led her to pursue her studies in law. So for now, she has half heartedly put her fashion career aside. But she continues to give her expertise, advice, and tips on fashion and style for you readers here at The Yn’S!

Sherry Rampersaud – Always resilient and refreshingly positive. Since highschool individuals have been drawn to her vivaciousness and determined outlook on life. A social butterfly, who at one point was offended by this term, later learned to harness those traits and use them to her advantage. Sherry ran for Miss Toronto Canada World and won in 2005 and since then has never turned back. She’s been published in newspapers, interviewed by media, and has had incredible opportunities, one of which included throwing the opening pitch for a Blue Jay’s game.

A life long giver, she has been an avid volunteer and thus at a very early age realized her level of interest in the human development sector and had always looked for ways to contribute to society and eventually found a way to make a career out of it. You can now find her working as a Business Coach for a Government program which helps young entrepreneurs accelerate their ideas and passions.

She herself has not only turned one passion into a reality, but has also taken her strengths as a leader and has developed herself into a Business and Life Coach. With her go-getter spirit and positive attitude she has helped numerous individuals out in every facet of their lives. Sherry has been a fan of reading all types of great books; authors from Wayne Dyer, Anthony Robbins, Napoleon Hill, Paulo Coelho to Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov. She has a burning desire to inspire people to sit in the driver’s seat of their lives!!! And is here for you at the Young And Sassy to ask – Are you ready to drive?!?!?
